Thanksgiving 2008

Thanksgiving, what an inspired holiday. We had a fun time running from the Perkins' to the Kimballs' to the Perkins' all day, but one of my favorite traditions is the Kimballs' annual Thanksgiving hike in the Superstitions. It was such a gorgeous day, give me rain any day and it just amplifies the beauty of things. Sorry for the lack of Perkins' pictures, I was too embarrassed to go around taking pictures of everyone... they don't all know what a photo phreek I am. :)

This little girl fights sleep like nothin' else. Those little eyelids just battle it out for one last peek at the world!

The cookie cutters made me do it! Who can resist baking sugar cookies if not just to please the cute cookie cutters stashed away all year? Ok - they are fall leaves! And an acorn. Craig had no clue what I was trying to create here... you see it... right!?
